In aromatherapy, peppermint essential oil can be used to relieve headaches, migraines and sore muscle. Fresh is helpful for headaches, a lymphatic stimulant and can assist in sinus relief.

Inhaling the aroma of peppermint essential oil is known to relieve nasal congestion and promote easy breathing.

Method:

• Diffuser: Add 6-8 drops of your Fresh essential oil to a diffuser.
• Shower: Add 2-3 drops to the corner of the shower and enjoy the benefits of steam inhalation.
• Topically: Dilute 1 drop of Fresh with 5ml carrier oil and apply to wrists, chest or back of the neck.
• Bath: Add up to 2 drops to the bath.
• Massage: Use a 1% dilution; 20 drops per 100ml carrier oil maximum. Peppermint has a strong aroma and powerful effect, therefore a small number of drops is enough to provide therapeutic effect.
• Steam Treatment: For the respiratory system, add 1 drop of essential oil to a bowl of steaming hot water. Caution due to risk of burns or scalding and keep eyes covered during treatment as Peppermint steam may cause irritation.
